The idea of preheating the Maple Sap prior to entry in the flue pan is not a new idea. Many methods of preheating have been tried over the years with a variance of results. Through research and actual field testing by the Northeast Forest Experiment Station, we feel the parallel flow preheater, combined with a steam hood that is reasonably tight, will offer the most in increased efficiency.

Parallel Flow Preheater Assemblies come complete with brackets, adjusting rods and condensate trays.

Should be used with S/S hood for best performance.
